This week I chat to Sturt Evans who is the Headteacher at New Leaf Inclusion Centre. Stuart has experience in a wide range of leadership posts in secondary schools and alternative provision. He is an energetic practitioner with the knowledge, skills and understanding of a range of teaching, learning, assessment and behaviour management strategies needed to make a positive impact on the progress of pupils in class and across the whole school. Stuart is confident and innovative and possess an open-minded and determined attitude to motivate and inspire both myself and others to succeed. He enjoys being part of, as well as leading, a successful and productive team being quick to grasp new ideas and concepts, and to develop ideas and creative solutions to problems. Able to work on own initiative and demonstrate high levels of motivation.
The journey Stuart, his team and pupils are on at New Leaf Inclusion Centre is really impressive and having spoken to him I think he and everyone else involved at New Leaf should be extremely proud in all they achieve.
