About the Role

Are you a Graduate looking to secure a Teaching Assistant role near Leatherhead, Surrey?

We're seeking dedicated graduates to join us as Full-Time Teaching Assistants, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) while also providing valuable support within the classroom. This is a long term position.

Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
Hours: 8:45 am - 3:15 pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Salary: £75.00 - £85.00 per day

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant within our SEN school in Leatherhead, Surrey you'll play a crucial role in nurturing and empowering our students with SEN, providing personalised support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Graduate Teaching Assistant ​​​responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting SEN pupils in various subjects and activities, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles.
  • Supporting the inclusion and integration of SEN pupils within mainstream classroom settings, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
  • Collaborating closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student progress and development.
  • Provide pastoral care and emotional support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all.
  • We're looking for resilient, caring individuals committed to making a long-term impact in the lives of our students.
  • Commuting to Leatherhead, Surrey
