Mental Health Support Assistant - Enfield, North London!
We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Assistant to join our amazing team at an SEMH school near Enfield, North London. You’ll work closely with teachers and staff to provide personalised support to students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Location: Near Enfield, North London.

Position: Mental Health Support Assistant

Hours: 08:30-16:15 Monday - Friday (Term-Time Only)

Salary: £12-£15/Hour Inclusive of 12.07% Holiday Pay

Contract: Temp to Perm
Key Responsibilities as a Mental Health Support Assistant:

Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Assist with implementing personalised learning plans in line with students’ educational and care needs.

Encourage and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential, promoting independence and confidence.

Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to deliver effective support and maintain a structured classroom environment.

Monitor and report on pupil progress, contributing to their development and well-being.
Mental Health Support Assistant Skills & Requirements:
-
Previous experience supporting students with special educational needs is highly desirable.

A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach to working with children.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and promoting the welfare of young people.

A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).

Must be able to commute to near Enfield, North London.
