Position: Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant

Hours: Monday - Friday (09:00 - 15:30)

Salary: £85-£90/Day (inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay)

Contract: Temp to Perm
Key Responsibilities as an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant:

Build meaningful relationships with students, helping them feel safe and supported.

Promote personal growth and independence while encouraging positive behaviour.

Assist in delivering engaging, differentiated educational activities.
-
Support classroom operations and adapt to the school’s needs.

Help foster students’ cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Provide support with personal care, when required.
What We’re Looking For as an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant:

Education: Minimum Grade 4 or equivalent in GCSE Maths and English.

Experience: Prior work with SEN pupils is desirable but not essential.

Transport: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, or ability to commute to Welwyn Garden City.

Safeguarding Knowledge: Awareness of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures.

Eligibility: Full-Time Right to Work in the UK.
